ArtCraft is the most ambitious open-source answer to Adobe so far: sixteen native apps covering image, video, audio, layout, CAD and spreadsheets. It is also early.

What is good

The scope is unusual. Most open-source alternatives cover one app; ArtCraft covers the whole suite and keeps a consistent interface across them.

Native Rust builds, public source and no subscription make it easy to evaluate without a commitment.

What is not ready

Most apps are in development and several are early alpha. Feature depth is far behind the Adobe tools they replace.
